What is an associate photographer/videographer?
An associate photographer or videographer is a trusted member of our team who captures weddings under the Kiri Marsters Photography brand. Our associates are selected for their experience and ability to shoot in a style consistent with ours.
While our associate team captures your wedding day, Kiri handles all the planning, communication and editing, so you’ll still receive the same Kiri Marsters Photography experience and signature editing style from start to finish.
Why would I hire an associate photographer/videographer?
One of the biggest reasons couples choose our associate team is availability. Our calendar can fill up well in advance and our associate team allows you to still have the Kiri Marsters experience and signature editing style.

My first camera was given to me by my grandfather in 2007 when I was a high school student, and it started me on the incredible artistic journey- studying a Bachelor of Visual Arts at Chengdu University of Technology . After I graduated from my school, I arrived to NZ to continue my study as a Master of Media Arts student at Wintec in Hamilton. My studies led me to fall in love with both documentary and portrait photography, and I adore bringing them together in my work
My passion for photographing weddings began in 2012 after I finished my Master's study in Hamilton. Since then, I moved to Auckland and spent many summers capturing those special moments and precious memories for numerous couples and families.
A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME:
• I have photographed over 400 weddings and pre-weddings for many happy couples
• I love capturing candid moments in natural-light settings
• I can speak two different languages: English and Mandarin Chinese
• My favorite subject when I was in high school was photography, which is why I decided to become a photographer
• I shoot wedding photos to both cards at every wedding and have a rigorous backup process once home too

I was born in a family of photo and videographers – it's like it was meant to be!
I studied Bachelors of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Besides I started my own photography firm back in India. After completing my graduation I moved to Newzealand and started shooting weddings and events. I have filmed more than 400 weddings and other events.
I love to capture candid moments. I call myself Lensman – superhero with amazing ‘freeze the moment’ powers. I see the world through my camera and specialise in cinematography and photography.

• I can speak in 3 different languages. English, Hindi , Punjabi.
• I am a foodie. So if you have got good caters on the wedding you will find me at food stop rather than shooting. Hahaha but after the work.
• I love to build a connection with couple and make them comfortable while shooting.
